CHUERA-206D 260W High-Power Lead-Free Soldering Station

    CHUERA-206D 260W High-Power Lead-Free Soldering Station

The Chuera 206D delivers up to 260 W of instantaneous power through high-frequency eddy current heating. Designed for lead-free soldering, it offers a 50–550°C temperature range and supports conventional tip sizes up to 10 mm. Operators can monitor real-time and set temperatures on the LCD, configure temperature alarm limits and protect the working setting with a password. Digital calibration, automatic sleep and automatic shutdown are included. The plug-in heating core is replaceable, with an LT 206 handle, VH200C heating core and 500 Series tips listed as optional accessories.

260 W Peak Output with a Choice of Contact Profiles

The CHUERA-206D pairs high-frequency eddy current heating with a maximum instantaneous power of 260 W. The heating system supports fast warm-up and temperature recovery during lead-free soldering, including work that calls for a larger tip contact area.

Conventional soldering tip sizes up to 10 mm are supported. The listed 500 Series options include pointed, flat and angled profiles, allowing the working end to be selected for the shape and accessibility of the connection.

The station provides an adjustable temperature range of 50–550°C. Tip selection and temperature adjustment can therefore be matched to the task rather than using one profile and setting throughout the workday. The 260 W specification refers to peak instantaneous power, not a stated continuous power rating.

Monitor Temperature Changes and Restrict Unwanted Adjustments

The LCD shows the real-time temperature beside the selected temperature. During operation, the operator can check both values without changing the display mode.

Upper and lower temperature alarm limits can be configured to define the required operating range. The station provides an alarm when the detected temperature falls outside those limits, drawing attention to a deviation while soldering work is underway.

A password-protected temperature lock adds control over setting changes. Once the working temperature has been selected, the lock helps prevent accidental or unauthorized adjustment through the front panel.

These functions address two different needs: the alarm monitors temperature conditions, while the password lock protects the selected setting. Both are useful when a soldering task is repeated across multiple assemblies.

Digital Correction and Idle Control Built In

The CHUERA-206D uses microcomputer control with push-button temperature adjustment. Digital calibration provides a separate correction function for an offset identified during a reference temperature check.

No-load temperature stability is specified at ±2°C. This value describes stability when the iron is not transferring heat into a workpiece; it is separate from the selectable temperature range and the calibration correction.

Automatic sleep and automatic shutdown are also included. These functions manage periods of non-use between soldering operations. They are distinct from the temperature alarm and do not need to be treated as part of the upper and lower process limits.

Service Components Identified by Model

The heating core uses a plug-in design, allowing it to be replaced separately from the control unit. The handpiece, heater and soldering tips have their own accessory references, making it easier to specify the required part.

LT 206 Soldering Handle

The LT 206 is the handle listed for the CHUERA-206D. It is shown as a handpiece-and-cable assembly with a connector for the station. The illustrated handpiece has a cushioned grip and a separate holder for resting the iron between joints.

VH200C Heating Core

The VH200C is the listed replacement heating core. Its plug-in construction simplifies servicing of the heating assembly. The heater is a separate component from the soldering tip, rather than an integrated heater-and-tip cartridge.

500 Series Soldering Tips

The 500 Series provides different working profiles for this model. A pointed tip offers a narrow contact shape, while flat and angled profiles provide alternative contact surfaces. The required profile can be specified alongside the handpiece and heater.

These components are listed as optional accessories. The illustrated selection represents available options, not a complete set of spare parts included with every station.

Bench Layout and Everyday Access

The controller measures 200 × 130 × 100 mm, with the display, three operating buttons, power switch and handpiece connector facing the operator.

The iron holder is separate from the controller. It can be positioned to suit the working hand while keeping the LCD visible and leaving the controls unobstructed. A sponge tray is incorporated into the holder, placing the tip-cleaning area beside the iron’s resting position.

The listed product weight is approximately 4.64 kg. Bench planning should allow additional space for the holder and free movement of the handpiece cable.

FAQ

What tip options are available for the CHUERA-206D?

The station lists 500 Series soldering tips and supports conventional tip sizes up to 10 mm. Several profiles are available for different contact shapes and working spaces.

Can the station warn when the temperature moves outside a selected range?

Yes. Upper and lower temperature alarm limits can be configured. An alarm is triggered when the detected temperature moves beyond the selected process range.

How is the working temperature protected from accidental changes?

The password temperature lock restricts adjustment of the selected setting. The LCD continues to provide the real-time and set temperature readings for monitoring.

Which heating core should be specified when ordering a replacement?

The listed heating core is the VH200C. The corresponding optional handpiece is the LT 206, and the listed soldering tips belong to the 500 Series.

Does heater replacement also require replacing the soldering tip?

The heater and tip are listed as separate components. The station uses a plug-in heating core rather than a cartridge that permanently combines the heater and working tip.

Are both automatic sleep and automatic shutdown included?

Yes. Both functions are included in the CHUERA-206D. The product information does not specify their delay values or whether those delays are adjustable.

Is a 110 V supply listed for this model?

No. The supplied specification lists AC 220 V at 50 Hz. The supply must match the rating on the individual station.
