Continuous Grounding Supervision for ESD Workstations
The CHUERA-495 series is designed to monitor the grounding condition of operators wearing ESD wrist straps. The system continuously checks the connection between the wrist strap and grounding circuit and provides an alert when the monitored resistance moves outside the configured range.
Two versions are available. CHUERA-495-1 is intended for single-operator monitoring, while CHUERA-495-2 provides two monitoring channels for shared workstations or areas where two operators need to be supervised at the same time.

Designed for Practical ESD Control
The monitor is built around a compact enclosure that can be installed close to an ESD workstation without taking up much space. Its monitoring resistance can be set within the 750KΩ to 30MΩ range according to the required working conditions.
The front indicators make the operating status easy to identify. Green indicates an OK condition, while red and blue indicators are used for different monitoring or alarm states.
Single and Dual Operator Configurations
CHUERA-495-1 provides one monitoring channel and is suitable for individual workbenches, inspection stations and single-user production areas.
CHUERA-495-2 provides two monitoring channels and can monitor two wrist strap connections simultaneously. It is suitable for shared benches, production stations and other work areas where two operators work side by side.
Stable Monitoring with Alarm Support
The device monitors wrist strap resistance continuously rather than relying on occasional manual checks. When an abnormal grounding condition is detected, the corresponding indicator provides a visual warning. External alarm and photoelectric sensor interfaces are also available for configurations requiring additional workstation control.
The grounding connection is designed for reliable operation, helping operators identify a wrist strap or grounding connection issue during daily production.
Flexible Installation and Connection
The compact design allows the monitor to be positioned near the operator's working area. The rear interface provides grounding connections, wrist strap monitoring ports and a DC power input. Optional accessories can be selected according to the workstation configuration.
A photoelectric sensor can also be used as an optional component for applications that require operator presence detection or related workstation management functions.
Typical Applications
The CHUERA-495 series can be used in:
Electronics assembly workstations
ESD production lines
