The CHUERA-4802D/4804D/4808D Smart IoT ESD ground monitor is built for production areas where grounding conditions need to be checked continuously rather than only during periodic inspections.
The monitor can track three common grounding points at an ESD workstation: the operator's wrist strap, the ESD work surface mat and grounded production equipment. Resistance values and operating status are shown directly on the 2.4-inch color display, giving operators and supervisors a clear view of each monitored point.
Wireless communication allows monitoring data to be transmitted without complicated communication wiring. The display also shows wireless signal status, which makes installation, commissioning and daily troubleshooting easier.
Three configurations are available for workstations with different monitoring requirements: CHUERA-4802D, CHUERA-4804D and CHUERA-4808D.

The different versions allow factories to select a suitable configuration according to the number of grounding points required at each workstation or production area.
The monitor can identify and monitor resistance for three types of ESD grounding connections:
Wrist strap grounding
ESD work surface mat grounding
Equipment grounding
This allows personnel grounding, workstation surfaces and production equipment to be managed through the same monitoring system instead of using separate devices for each grounding point.
The built-in 2.4-inch color screen displays important operating information directly on the device, including:
Network connection status
Monitored object
Real-time resistance value
Monitoring status
Wireless communication signal status
The monitor also supports online software or firmware upgrades, making system maintenance more convenient when updates are required.
Each monitoring point is shown with a visual status indication, allowing operators to identify abnormal grounding conditions quickly.
The status colors are:
Red: Fail
Green: Pass
Yellow: Resistance below the configured range
Grey: Not in use
This makes daily workstation checks easier, especially where several grounding points are being monitored at the same time.
The CHUERA-4802D/4804D/4808D series supports wireless data transmission.
Wireless signal status is displayed dynamically on the monitor, helping technicians check communication conditions during installation and commissioning.
Because no additional communication cable is required between every monitoring point and the management system, the system is easier to deploy across multiple workstations or production areas.
Different factories may use different ESD control requirements, so the monitoring limits can be adjusted through the monitoring system management software.

Equipment Grounding:
0 to 20 Ω
Parameters can be configured remotely through the monitoring management software, reducing the need to adjust each monitor individually.
The infrared sensing function can also be enabled or configured through the management system when required.
When used with the infrared sensor, the system can help identify situations where an operator has not correctly connected or worn the wrist strap.
The monitor can also detect when the wrist strap socket cable has not been connected correctly or becomes disconnected during operation.
This provides an additional layer of checking beyond resistance monitoring alone and helps reduce missed connections during daily production.

Traditional manual checks only show the grounding condition at the time of testing. During production, a wrist strap may become disconnected, an ESD mat grounding cable may loosen, or an equipment grounding connection may change.
A continuous ESD monitor checks these grounding paths during operation and provides a visible status when the measured resistance moves outside the configured range.
